What is Falafel?

Falafel is a ball or patty made from ground chickpeas, ground fava beans, or a combination of the two. Although the exact origin of falafel is unknown, it is thought to have originated in Egypt and later spread throughout the Middle East. Today, falafel is enjoyed all over the world, and is particularly popular among vegetarians as a highly nutritious food.

What makes Yossi’s Falafel better than the rest?

Preparing the mix from scratch every day, Yossi’s falafel has a taste and nutritional content that surpasses others in the market place which are often mass produced using poor quality ingredients to both bulk up the falafel or using flavours that detract from the authentic falafel flavour.

We use fresh chickpeas that are soaked overnight rather than tinned chickpeas which means that we don’t use any preservatives in our falafel.

We bring additional value by offering a service to assist our customers in creating menus using our existing products and working on creating new product variations unique to them.
